Crescent Moon - Luxury Lamp Victorian Lampshade

A gorgeous antique lamp with original paint and a fabulous handmade crescent shaped beaded Victorian lampshade accented with semi-precious carnelian stones and dazzling French lace, the “Harvest Moon” lamp brings warm light and unique shapes to your home.

The handmade crescent moon shade is layered with hand-dyed silk in a fade from terra cotta to light burnt orange. The silk underlayment is crowned with a stunning floral French Chantilly lace featuring silver metal threads, stacked sequin discs, and delicate glass beadwork. Colors incorporated into the lace include tan, silver, and burgundy. The shade is trimmed in silver metallic lace with traces of black.

The bead work on the shade is handstrung and includes semi-precious carnelian stones, Czech glass crystals, lampwork beads, and silver-plated metal beads. The beads were hand-selected and arranged to compliment the detailed work in the lace, but also to glow beautifully when the lamp is lit. The In total, the bead line includes 1,440 handstrung pieces , and hundreds more in the lace detail. This shade is designed for low wattage ambient light.

The early century antique lamp base has delightful lines, original paint, and pull-chain switching. A handmade beaded pull hangs from the socket, featuring a carved carnelian stone calla flower augmented with vintage cloisonne and Czech glass beads. The lamp is rewired by a licensed electrician using new UL Listed parts.
