"Blue Steel" by Elegance Lamps is a luxury lamp featuring a fully-restored antique lamp base an handmade silk Victorian lampshade.

The luxury silk lampshade is smothered in gorgeous hand-dyed silk charmeuse and silk matelassé, in a gentle fade from pale to deep azure blue. The front panel showcases a cascade of antique Asian silk flower-motif applique. Each corner panel features rare antique French silver pressed metal lace mesh. The top panel features a stunning French metal lace in a bright silver floral pattern.

The trims on the Blue Steel shade incorporate heavy silver metal lace from Amsterdam, antique silver tape braid, and modern metal braid. The complimentary beadwork is hand-strung, and includes silver plated metal beads, Czech crystals, and glass bicones.

The shade rests on a hand-painted early century cast iron base, stylized with floral accents. The matching finial is hand-painted with complimentary color.

The lamp measures 24 inches from base to finial, and 15 inches at the widest point. The base is 7 x 7 inches.

This fully-lined lamp provides wonderful white lighting, adding an elegant spot of color to your blue-toned home or office décor. A standard incandescent bulb is included. All restored lamps are wired by a certified electrician using new UL Listed parts.
